Niessing Coil Wave
A new rhythm of simplicity
The Coil Wave is the consistent further development of a clear idea. From the calm line of the classic coil, movement emerges – not as an effect, but from the design itself. The wave follows a steady rhythm of repetition and precision. Every curve is deliberately shaped; movement becomes visible without losing the clarity of form. The result is a lively dynamism that never appears restless.
The coil unites Bauhaus thinking with artisanal consistency. Reduction remains the principle; movement complements function. It does not seek attention, but convinces through inner order, rhythm, and precision. At the same time, it allows pendants to shine in a new light, merges with their outer form to create a harmonious unity, or adds a subtle vitality to calm designs.
A glow from within...
Our goldsmiths master the ancient craft of wire drawing to perfection. Again and again, they pull the wire of gold or platinum through special drawing dies and anneal it many times exactly at the right moment. The wire has to have a perfectly round profile for the perfect fit and form of the Niessing Coil.
When the wires have been manufactured, they are very precisely wound around a transparent core of nylon. This core intensifies the glow of the coils from within. Each Niessing Coil is finished with a hand-polished clasp, which is easy to use and very secure.
