A groove along the side highlights the volume of »Hollow with Groove« jewelry pieces: Innovative design meets the highest level of craftsmanship, allowing extraordinary insights. »Baroque« is sculptural as well: Ring and bracelet seem to have lost their basic shape. Mutatio is a shape that can constantly move and change, in fluid transition, like waves on the water. The Niessing multi-finger rings embody the avant-garde of 20th-century international jewelry art: they abandon the classic ring shape and frame the entire hand.

WEDDING RINGS MADE WITH LOVE
Niessing was founded in the year 1873 by goldsmith Hermann Niessing in Vreden in the Münsterland region. In the early years, he made nuns' rings and devotional objects, commissioned by the bishoprics of Münster and Cologne as well as by wealthy monasteries and foundations in Vreden and the surrounding area. Niessing also sold handmade wedding rings from the very first year it was founded. In the 1950s, the manufactory became one of Germany’s leading seamless wedding ring manufacturers. The Niessing wedding ring has neither a beginning nor an end – and today it remains the most beautiful symbol of love, loyalty and an eternal bond.

PLATINUM MEETS FINE GOLD
Without brazing and practically inseparably joined together, wafer-thin platinum lends stability to delicate fine gold. Niessing S is the manufactory's first surface jewelry and a milestone in its design language. Even in delicate rings and chains, platinum and fine gold create a unique combination; the gold appears to be dabbed on or is entwined with platinum to form delicate cords.
