In classic diamond engraving, the writing is carved into the jewelry piece using a diamond. This type of engraving is shiny and can be read especially well in rings that are finished matt on the inside.
PRECISE LASER ENGRAVING

Laser engravings are matt. Writing or even your fingerprint will come out particularly well in wedding rings that are polished inside.

NIESSING COLORS

AS TIME GOES BY

Since 1984, Niessing has continued to develop its range of gold colors, creating a fascinating palette of hues. Today, we proudly feature no fewer than 14 different Niessing Colors. This variety enables every couple to find the ideal color tone. The gold colors are just as individual as those who wear them. There are significant differences not only in color, but also in the way these alloys develop over time. In this respect, the degree of hardness plays an important role.

Solaris, Iris, Spring Green, Warm Yellow, Ivory and Sand Gray

Solaris, Iris, Spring Green, Warm Yellow, Ivory and Sand Gray

These alloys will already show visible wear after a short period of being worn. However, this is not a sign of inferior quality; quite the opposite: Niessing deliberately uses a particularly high proportion of gold and/or palladium here. On the one hand, these materials are softer, while on the other hand they are also particularly refined – the more refined a material is, the more refined its worn surface will appear.
Aura, Fine Gray, Rosewood, Classic Red, Fine Rose and Classic Yellow

Aura, Fine Gray, Rosewood, Classic Red, Fine Rose and Classic Yellow

They all contain a certain amount of copper. Even if this portion is sometimes very small (Fine Gray), it gives the gold greater hardness. Nevertheless, these alloys will also show the traces of life.
Supla Grenadine

Supla Grenadine

Niessing Supla Grenadine is a rosé-colored, warmly shimmering gold. Its portion of precious platinum gives it a fascinatingly luminous luster – as if bathed in the cool, clear light of the moon. The hardness, the resilience as well as the elasticity of Supla Grenadine are of the highest order. Nevertheless, the surface will change as a result of being worn.
Platinum

Platinum

The most precious of all precious metals shimmers moon white and possesses a special strength. We use platinum in nearly pure form, with only 50 parts of 1000 being tungsten or copper. These metals provide the platinum with even greater strength. This makes platinum very well suited for delicate rings or designs that require exceptional stability, such as the Niessing Spannring®. Even though platinum is the hardest of the Niessing Colors, the surface will change as a result of being worn.
