Sweepstakes “Love is in the air”

2. ELIGIBILITY

Only natural persons who have reached the age of 18 at the time of participation and who purchase a Niessing wedding ring set from a Niessing Partner or a Niessing Store during the promotion period are eligible to participate. 

Employees of Niessing Manufaktur GmbH & Co. KG, Niessing Stores, and Niessing Partners, as well as their immediate family members, are excluded from participation. 

One entry is permitted per purchased pair of wedding rings.

3. PARTICIPATION AND PROMOTION PERIOD 

The Sweepstakes takes place twice a year, in March and September. 

Customers who purchase one pair of Niessing wedding rings during the respective promotional period will be entered into the Sweepstakes automatically. No separate registration or entry form is required.

4. PRIZE

A total of five Niessing Love Walls (Size M), each including 90 copper plates, will be awarded by random drawing among all eligible participants. 

Each winner may receive a maximum of one Love Wall (Size M) including 90 copper plates. 

The corresponding toolbox may be borrowed from a participating Niessing Partner or Niessing Store. Upon request, the toolbox can also be shipped. 

The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. 

5. WINNER SELECTION AND DRAW

The winners will be selected by random drawing. 

The drawing will take place during the first week of the month following the applicable promotional month. 

Winners will be notified by the Niessing Partner or Niessing Store from which the wedding rings were purchased. 

If a winner does not respond within one month of notification, Niessing reserves the right to select an alternate winner by random drawing.

6. PRIZE DELIVERY

The prize and the toolbox may be collected from the Niessing Partner where the wedding rings were purchased. 

Upon request, both the prize and the toolbox may also be shipped.

By participating in the “Love is in the air” sweepstakes, Niessing processes participants’ personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

Subscription to the Niessing newsletter is voluntary and not a prerequisite for participation in the sweepstakes. Further information on data processing in connection with the newsletter can be found in our Privacy Policy.

• First and last name 

• Email address 

• Postal address 

• Participating Niessing partner 

3. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

Data is processed solely for the following purposes: 

• Conducting the sweepstakes 

• Verifying eligibility to participate 

• Randomly selecting the winner 

• Notifying the winner 

• Organizing and delivering/shipping the prize 

• Sending of the Niessing newsletter, provided that separate consent has been given (further information on data processing in connection with the newsletter can be found in our Privacy Policy) 

Data will not be used for marketing purposes unless separate consent has been given. 

4. LEGAL BASIS

The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing necessary for pre-contractual measures or for the performance of a contract in connection with participation in the sweepstakes). 

5. DATA SHARING

Personal data will only be shared to the extent necessary to carry out the sweepstakes, in particular with: 

• Shipping service providers 

• Participating Niessing partners for providing or handing over the toolbox 

No further disclosure to third parties will take place. 

6. DATA RETENTION

Personal data will be deleted after the sweepstakes has been fully completed, unless legal retention obligations apply. 

7. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Participants have the following rights: 

• Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) 

• Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) 

• Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) 

• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

8. WITHDRAWAL AND CONSEQUENCES

Participants may object to the processing of their personal data or withdraw their consent at any time. In this case, further participation in the sweepstakes will no longer be possible.
